Imaging Week 1

This class was about brushing up our Illustrator and Photoshop skills.We were to choose any Bollywood poster and try to recreate it as close as possible.I chose the film Rockstar. I decided to use Illustrator for the text and certain basic parts of the face,and use Photoshop for the rest.Here is the original poster:
This is what I started with on illustrator. 
Using the original poster layer,I traced out basic outlines 
Created a base skin layer 
Shaded the contours and details of the face and the hair using the Brush tool and the mixing brush. 
Shaded the cap in different sections using the clipping mask. 
Details for the lower half,the kurta and the coat. 
Cropped the fire from the original poster and used the clone stamp to blend the fire pattern better. 
Made a copy of the title text and used a clip mask over the top layer to add in some shading.
